Brightest and Best

Why I trust my brightest and best is coming…

It hit me like a ton of bricks… If I think I know everything and I have to be able to logically think through what is happening in life then how do I account for the unknown. I literally said the other day that had I not had my faith during very difficult parts of life, I would have surely become drug dependent or alcohol dependent. How can my life look so different than what I set out to create? I grappled for a long time with what it meant. My mom got sick and died. My brother in law (who I practice with) couldn’t practice for a year with unknown health challenges, not married, no kids. That is how I used to see myself. I defined myself by the uncontrolled things that happened rather than how I rose to the occasional each time I was faced with a challenge. These challenges won’t go away and I definitely would not have become the tough and very focused person who can tackle anything.

Everyone reports the direction of their life changing with control and uncontrolled variables. I realized that I assumed that everyone else’s life was exactly what they wanted, and it was supposed to be and that I was the exception. That is a horrible way to live!

I now stand by the mantra that everything is happening for my brightest and best. Psalm 37 talks about relinquishing our fears and worries to God and trusting that he is listening and making the unknown happen. Faith over fear, ladies, is so freaking hard! But guess what, relinquishing to him takes all of the pressure and anxiety off of us to figure it out. Set your intentions and release.

I have a flaw (many actually) that mentally makes me think that I need to work harder in order to attain our massive goals. “If I work harder, and multitask then I will get closer to my goals”. Wrong, so wrong, so very wrong. We actually need to slow down and intuitively check in with ourselves and trust the space between where we are and where we want to be. My brain was lying to me. Hardcore lying to me.

I got in my flow. I trusted my feminine energy and now I’m uncomfortably moving the bus forward! Just being and healing parts of yourself will massive increase your trajectory. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more unsure of the future but equally calm and confident that my brightest and best will shine with the big man at my side! I can sleep soundly knowing I have what I need. You do to. You have everything and more than you need.
